Celebrity Stalker Faces Humiliating Consequences for Illegal Act

A Hunting Host Faces Life-Long Ban and Public Backlash

A well-known host of a popular online hunting show has faced severe consequences after being found guilty of illegal hunting activities. Matt Jennings, 35, is the host of The Game, a YouTube series that caters to enthusiasts of hunting and wildlife. However, his career and personal life have been dramatically impacted by a series of violations that led to a lifetime ban from hunting and fishing in Kansas.

Jennings, who hails from Bowdon, Georgia, was sentenced to five years of probation for two counts of illegal taking of a white-tailed deer in interstate commerce. His actions occurred on November 11, 2022, in Florence, Kansas. During this trip, he killed an antlered deer but did not have the proper hunting tag for that region. To cover up the violation, he drove to Oklahoma the following day and fraudulently registered the kill using an Oklahoma electronic tag.

On November 19, Jennings killed another antlered deer near Wakeeney, Kansas. Although he had a valid tag for that area, killing a second antlered deer in the same season violated state law. This act exceeded the bag limit of one antlered deer per season, leading to further legal repercussions.

As part of his sentencing, a federal judge ordered Jennings to pay $15,000 in restitution to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. He was also required to pay a $10,000 fine and forfeit the antlers from the illegally hunted deer. These penalties reflect the seriousness of his actions and the impact on wildlife conservation efforts.

White-tailed deer are the most common species in North America, known for their distinctive white tails that they raise when alarmed. Despite past overhunting, their population remains healthy, and managing their numbers is typically done through regulated hunting and habitat preservation.

Jennings’ illegal hunts were featured on The Game, which has over 60,000 subscribers and has been active for six years. On July 12, he posted a dramatic compilation of his hunting moments with the caption, “One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.” The video quickly drew backlash from viewers.

Commenters expressed outrage, with many calling him out for his unethical behavior. One user wrote, “You can’t even call yourself a hunter.” Another commented, “This liar has never taken any game legally. He just finally got caught.” Others expressed disappointment, stating, “Sorry Matt, won’t be watching anymore of your vids. Lost a lot of respect for you.”

Jennings is known for sharing content featuring his two young sons, whom he often includes in his social media posts and hunting trips. His actions have sparked discussions about the ethics of hunting and the responsibilities of those who influence others through their platforms.

The Daily Mail reached out to Jennings for comment, but no response was provided. As the fallout continues, the case serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of violating wildlife laws and the importance of ethical behavior in the hunting community.
