A 21-year-old man has lost his life in a shocking electric scooter accident that occurred in Spokane, Washington. The incident took place last Friday when Sean Keaton Nolan fell off the motorized two-wheeler and was struck by a moving semi-truck. According to local police, the accident happened as he and another passenger were riding along the sidewalk near the university district at around 2:20 am.
Nolan, who was described by authorities as the ‘rear passenger,’ lost his balance and fell into the roadway where he was hit by the truck. The front passenger managed to land on the sidewalk, but Nolan was not so lucky. The semi-truck driver stopped immediately and attempted to assist the two men. Emergency responders also tried to perform life-saving measures, but Nolan was pronounced dead at the scene.
