The conversation took place as the show’s step-in host, Christine Lampard, 46, was speaking with LA Correspondent Ross King, 63, about the recent passing of the iconic musician.
Ozzy Osbourne, a legendary figure in the world of rock music, passed away at the age of 76 on July 22, 2025. His family gathered in Birmingham, his hometown, to honor his life during an emotional procession that marked the end of a chapter for many fans and loved ones.
Christine began the conversation by mentioning Lulu, highlighting her connection to another music legend. She then turned to Lulu, saying, “Lulu, you were friends… I want to say, Sharon…” Lulu responded, “I know you won’t be watching, but if anyone is watching, Melinda, can you call me?
